Playways at the Gilford Youth Center is excited to bring you Kidventures starting in September! Kidventures is drop-off afternoon care on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12-1:30pm here at the Gilford Youth Center. The program will focus on enrichment activities such as crafts, games, nature trail, free play, gym time, playground fun, easy cooking and so much more for your preschooler to enjoy. The program will be offered throughout the school year and available for all *Potty trained children ages 3-5 years old.
Kidventures will offer a safe, fun, structured day focused on free-play, imagination use, organized-play, staying active, arts & crafts, encouraging friendships & having FUN! All students at Village Nursery School will be picked up immediately following their school day by a staff member. Kidventures is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12-1:30pm and will follow the Village Nursery Schools calendar. Ages 3-5 years old *Must be Potty-trained (Staff is unable to assist unless and emergency) The program will be held in the Gilford Youth Center using the playground, Gilford Community Church, Town Fields, the Gilford Library, and local Nature Trails. *All locations will be within walking distance. All children must be pre-registered to attend. The program will not be offered if Gilford schools are cancelled. Cost: $30 per week *Space is limited! Our tentative daily schedule:
12-12:30pm -Free Play 12:30-12:45pm -Toileting / Wash up 12:45-1:15pm -Lunch 1:15-1:30pm -Clean/ Wash Up 1:30-2:15pm -Busy Activities- Nature walk, Playground, Scavenger Hunt, Fields, Gym, etc. 2:15-2:45pm -Hands on Activity time- crafts, cooking, art, etc. 2:45-3pm Pick up/ Sign out |
